Vintage Rolling Cart

I was trying to figure out what to put here in the middle of this vintage rolling cart! The cart was given to me by my mother. I believe it was one of her many many many Canton First Monday finds. The rooster picture was actually the first thing Ryan and I bought for our home. I was thinking maybe some books but then again I did not want the middle to look to heavy since I already had a lot on the top and bottom. So I asked over on my instagram post what my followers thought. I listed below what they all said incase you find yourself with a small space like this and aren’t exactly sure what to put he here!

  • Red chicken/roosters
  • Old cook books
  • Painted books with wedding date
  • Lil boots!
  • Red decorative pick up truck
  • Cow or Bison figurine
  • Tan wicker basket
  • Gemstone/Crystals
  • Vintage Pyrex
  • Wire Basket with stationary

Some of the things I used were found at First Monday Trade Days so I linked up somethings below that are like the stuff I used. I even found some super cute vintage rolling cart look alikes!

As you can see I ended up doing a little bit of two things people recommended! A basket and a book. The wire basket I got at target. The book I had in a stash of decor I keep on hand. It is a very old Encyclopedia. I felt like the color of the book really tied in this space! What do you think?
